Chop Chop

This 2D animation my graduation work. The story is about the mother-daughter bond which is based on my personal experience. A mother braids her daughter’s hair every morning. She believes the tighter the braids are, the closer their relationship is. Even though the little girl suffers from the throbbing pain in the head, she still tries to perceive her mother’s love. Actually, there is a little fantasy in her mind which has never been mentioned or carried out, until an accident happens...

這部2D動畫是我大學的畢業作品。短片的主題是關於母女關係。靈感來自我自身的童年經歷。故事中的媽媽每天都會替女兒綁頭髮，她費盡心思，用力拉扯，以為頭髮綁得愈緊，母女倆的關係就會愈親密。小女孩雖然每天頂著頭痛生活，但仍試著理解媽媽給她的(痛苦的)愛。其實她心底裡有未曾實現的小幻想，直至一個小小的意外出現⋯⋯
